Laois Civil Defence operates a Search & Rescue service which is on stand by 24/7 365 days a year. We assist the Gardai in Missing person searches, mountain rescue and recovery operations. We cover a wide area around County Laois such as the Slieve Bloom Mountains and are volunteers are highly trained in search coordination.
