Laois Civil Defence provides a wide range of services to the local community. We provide services such as First Aid, Search & Rescue, Swift Water Rescue as well as event cover for events large and small
Civil Defence’s prime role is to give aid and assistance in times of emergency supporting the frontline emergency services. We have volunteers on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and our operations are funded by the Department of Defence and Laois County Council.
Our highly skilled volunteers train each week in areas such as First Aid, Swift Water Rescue, Search & Rescue, and Radio Communications.
